We're delighted to invite you to meet Claire Fréchet, renowned ceramic artist from Gouvieux, in her studio in the heart of the troglodyte village, an unusual place steeped in history.

An exceptional artistic immersion

Come and discover the art of modeling and sculpting ceramics with Claire Fréchet.

She invites you to discover her world. In this workshop, she'll share with you her craft know-how, shaped by years of practice and exploration.

Every gesture, every texture tells a story, and it's with passion that she will guide you on this creative odyssey, where clay becomes a terrain of expression and discovery. You'll be able to practice and give free rein to your creativity, shaping your own ceramic piece under the artist's expert guidance.

The troglodyte village of Gouvieux: a site steeped in history

‍Crewninto the hillside, the troglodyte village of Gouvieux is an emblematic place in the region, bearing witness to an ancestral way of life.

Once used as dwellings, these rocky cavities today offer a unique and picturesque setting, prized by artists and craftsmen.

To guarantee a privileged and immersive experience, we offer two slots of 6 people maximum, with prior registration:‍

Booking conditions : Book a stay at Château de Montvillargenne on the night of Friday April 11 or Saturday April 12.‍

Transport: We provide a shuttle service to and from the Château.
